Tim Recher Achieves Certified Culinary Judge Recognition from ACF

Tim Recher, CEC, WCMC, AAC, director of culinary operations at The Club at Mediterra in Naples, FL, has been officially recognized as a certified culinary judge by the American Culinary Federation.


Recher’s achievement follows years of competing and representing the United States on the international stage, including appearances at the Culinary Olympics in Luxembourg and Stuttgart, as well as the Global Chefs Challenge in Singapore. A member of the U.S. National Culinary Olympic Team in 2020 and 2024, he has earned numerous medals and accolades throughout his career.


“This recognition reflects the support, lessons and mentorship I’ve received along the way,” Recher said. “I am grateful to all who have shared their knowledge and guidance, and I look forward to giving the same to others.”


Recher’s certification adds to a distinguished career that already includes the ACF National Chef Professionalism Award, multiple Cutting Edge Awards, and fellowship in the American Academy of Chefs. His new role as a certified judge will allow him to help advance professional standards in the culinary field while continuing to mentor the next generation of chefs.
