Chef Somboon Naknoon Retires After Nearly 25 Years at Boca West

After nearly 25 years of culinary excellence, Chef Somboon “Sam” Naknoon, esteemed garde manger at Boca West Country Club, has officially retired. Chef Sam began his journey with the club on September 11, 2000, and quickly became a cornerstone of the culinary team, known for his precision, creativity, and unwavering commitment to excellence.
His artistry in the kitchen helped define the Boca West dining experience, earning admiration from both members and colleagues alike. Pictured with Matthew Linderman, CCM, GM/COO (center), and director of culinary Paul Griffin (right), Chef Sam (left) was celebrated for his lasting contributions and years of dedicated service. As he hangs up his apron, the Boca West family extends heartfelt gratitude and warm wishes for a well-earned retirement.
