Bright’s Creek, a private golf and sporting community located in Western North Carolina, announced that Bill Bower has been hired as general manager, effective immediately. Bower supports the community and golf club’s growth and overall strategy in his new role.
"Bill brings a unique perspective to the global marketplace that will be instrumental to Bright’s Creek’s ambitions over the next decade and beyond. From strategic planning to development, his ability to approach club and community management with passion and a demand for excellence will be key to our success,” said Mark Lampert, co-owner of Bright’s Creek.
With industry experience across multiple public and private golf and country clubs, working both independently as a consultant and in senior-level roles with clubs like Bonita Bay Club and management companies, including, most recently, Troon Golf, Bower brings an abundance of cross-functional experience to his role. He will provide thought leadership and strategic direction to every aspect of the club and community.

Bower earned his undergraduate degree from Indiana University and is a certified Class A PGA member. Bower and his family will reside in Mill Spring, North Carolina."
