Bear Trap Dunes Welcomes Kellie Pitts as New General Manager

Bear Trap Dunes Golf Club, in Ocean View, Delaware is pleased to welcome Kellie Pitts as the club’s new general manager. As general manager Pitts will oversee all aspects of the 27-hole club, including golf operations, membership, agronomy, and food and beverage services. She will also manage operations at Coastal Kitchen, a popular dining venue at Bear Trap Dunes available to Club members and the public.
Pitts began her career at Bear Trap Dunes in 2007 as the membership sales coordinator, quickly demonstrating her dedication and leadership skills. In 2009, she moved to Bayside Resort Golf Club as membership coordinator and advanced through various leadership positions, ultimately moving into the assistant general manager position in 2021. Bayside Resort Golf Club, an 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature golf club, is also a Troon-managed and Carl M. Freeman Companies owned club.

Pitts grew up in nearby Frankford, Delaware and is a graduate of Goldey–Beacom College in Wilmington, DE, where she earned degrees in Human Resources Management and Business Administration. She has deep roots in the community and a genuine love for the area she calls home.
